Major Bitcoin (BTC) investors have been buying the coin, according to recent transactions. However, analysts warn that there is no reason for excessive enthusiasm.

According to data from CoinGlass and Glassnode, major Bitcoin (BTC) investors have been accumulating the coin at levels not seen since early this year. However, this accumulation activity by whales does not necessarily mean an imminent shift in market direction.
'Whales are showing significant buying activity but we cannot rule out that this is simply a tactical move to strengthen long-term positions,' said a senior analyst to CryptoPotato.
Bitcoin is currently trading at $67,089 with a 0.33% change in the last 24 hours. Ethereum (ETH) is around $2,049.2, showing a decline of 0.15%. The accumulation by whales in Bitcoin has not significantly boosted its price.
It's also important to note that macroeconomic conditions have maintained some pessimism in financial markets. News that employment in the U.S grew more than expected did not have a significant impact on the crypto market, although it did affect other traditional financial sectors.
Transactions between whales have been notable over the past few weeks. According to data from Glassnode, the average daily amount of BTC transferred by addresses with balances above 1,000 BTC has reached levels not seen since the beginning of the year.
'While it is encouraging to see whales accumulating coins, we must be cautious,' notes an analyst from CoinGlass. 'Current market levels do not indicate a significant buying opportunity for retail investors.'
The price of Bitcoin sits at crucial levels. If it manages to surpass the key resistance level of $68,000, it could open the path towards higher zones; however, a retreat down to $65,000 might reaffirm doubts about a possible correction.
'Whales are accumulating but this is not time for euphoria,' concludes the analyst. 'It's important to monitor institutional flows and exchange activity to determine if there is a structural shift underway.' Caution remains key despite emerging optimism.
